The Opportunity We are looking for a HSEC Analyst to provide HSE data administration, but also to provide support to field activities including study work, to the RTM Serbia. What the role entails This role is a great opportunity to collaborate with key HSE stakeholders at and outside of RTM Serbia in the implementation of strategic HSE plans. To collaborate with national and local authorities and government bodies authorized for health and safety and environment. To engage and work with contractors and consultants on the advancement of the Jadar Project and other projects in Serbia. Working full time and reporting to the Sr HSEC Advisor, you will be: Reviewing RTM Serbia risk registers and management plans to ensure if adequately identify and mitigate project risks, address RT business conformance standards and Serbian regulatory requirements Assist planning and delivering HSE training and coaching to equip personnel to operate in accordance with Rio Tinto standards Deploying adequate and sufficient HSE resources in the field to support activities (eg pre-start inspections, risk assessments, risk reviews, supervision, investigations, post-operation monitoring) Providing support to the RTM Serbia team by managing HSE and relevant records and monitoring HSE performance to ensure RT standards and Serbian statutory requirements are met. Securing HSE risks are identified and mitigated by Implementing monitoring programmes, evaluating data, initiating appropriate response and meeting statutory and corporate reporting requirements. Securing HSE risks are identified and mitigated by: Administering RTM Serbia HSE in order to ensure consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement; this relates to certain system tools: RTBS (HSE part), RTM SharePoint (HSEQ document control system), Critical Risk Management (CRM) tools (CRM Portal, SQRA), TapRoot tool, RTM Serbia Shared drive – HSEQ folder, RTM Serbia HSE Records register and other relevant tools. What you will need for this role To succeed in this role, you will have: College/University Education: Graduate Occupational Health/Safety Sciences, Social Sciences, Mining and geology sciences or equivalent Occupational health and safety (‘Lice za bezbednost’ licenca), first aid and firefighting certification, as required by Serbian law. Other Serbian licenses (‘Koordinator za BZR’, ADR, radiation safety, chemical management – MSDS,etc) preferable as well. Awareness of exploration/mining practices in order to be able to make informed judgments and give sound advice on HSE issues Broad technical understanding of health, safety, environment, community, and quality issues ISO and quality systems knowledge; Proficient in systems implementation and data management It will also be beneficial if you have: HSEQ Management System, Advanced First Aid / Incident Management, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, Defensive driving This role is based in Loznica, Serbia.
